I have had a regular yoga practice for nearly 20 years and taught for 10, having been awarded a distinction for my original 18-month teaching diploma with YogaCampus.
Yoga has helped me to strengthen my body, slow down my busy thoughts and better meet the challenges – big and small – of everyday life. I love offering the movement sequences and breathing techniques that I find the most beneficial – and fun! - to my students.
I have specialist trainings in yoga for immune and digestive health, yoga therapy, vinyasa sequencing, somatic movement, restorative yoga, Qigong and the internal martial arts.
My teaching is influenced by a number of leading teachers, especially Graham Burns, Susanne Lahusen, Doug Keller, Mimi Kuo-Deemer and Kate Walker.
